You're such a doll! I surely missed you while you were gone. so you have another year in school and then....? Military life? Keep a notebook with you. It will serve you well. You will see so many things that can only be recorded by a writer's eye and heart.

LOL...I say...books, yes, street smarts, perhaps not so much, but your generation certainly has the ball as far as computers and math...and the infusion of skill that will serve you better in the corporate world. What say you to THAT? LOL... ;0)

He is pretty smart, but I think all kids your age are much smarter than we were at that age. Times are much different now. You're going to make a great soldier!

Oh wow! My son has been in the Navy now for 2.5 years. He is an Aviations Electronics Technician on an air craft carrier. He really seems to enjoy it most days. GOOD LUCK! Thanks for your kind words. I wish you the best of luck Roger and I hope you'll stay in touch.
