The Steam Punk Short Story Contest  April 21, 2013 - May 21, 2013

The title is self-explanatory. This contest will comprise of short stories based around an alternate universe of your choosing. It can be of any genre and based on an individual plot. It can also be as short or as long as you choose, but not a whole book, please. Of course, it has to feature steam punk elements (which usually include steam powered machines, Victorian-inspired clothing, sci-fi elements, etc.) and cannot take place in modern day time.

Besides the three different awards, there will be an "Out of the Box" Award, which will be given to the person whose story is completely "out there" and most unique.

The deadline is 30 days from April, 21st, ending on May, 21st
