![]() EmotionsA Lesson by Nicole![]() Adding emotion and character, to your character.![]() Something I do to help me with adding emotion to my characters, is I look into the mirror, think of an emotion in my head, and make a face. If I wanted to look sad I would pull my lips down a slight bit, droop my eyes, and scrunch my eyebrows just a tad bit. Then use that as "sad" for a character. For facial expressions the only thing I could say, is make funny faces in the mirror and waaalah, there you go. Body movements: such as hand movement, standing positions, the way a person sits, or moves their head. Same thing, as facial expression. Look at yourself in the mirror and act out your character. If the person is a high maintained woman, put yourself in her shoes. She could have been enrolled in etiquette school, so she sits with her back straight, her head slightly tilted up, hands in her lap, and legs crossed. Use yourself as an inspiration, use yourself to make your imagery come to life. ![]() Comments
