About Me

Ive been writing for the past 7-8 years. I write as a way to cope, and release emotions that distract me from real life. I just recently graduated highschool from Glenlawn Collegiate. In my graduating year, I hosted a poetry reading, helped my rugby team win the city championship, and received a $500 scholarship to do with what I choose. I am currently working to create a create writing club at my school. I lead a very simple life, I love music and sports. Anything that involves creating makes me happy and gives me reason to believe that everything is going to be okay.

Journey

The mouth of the river may be beautiful.
It doesn't remember the womb of its beginning.
It doesn't look back to where it's been
or wonder who ahead of it polished the rough stones.

It is following the way
in its fullness,
now like satin,
now cresting,
waters meeting, kindred
to travel gathered together,
all knowing it flows
one way, shining or in shadows.
And me, the animal
I ride wants to drive forward,
its longing not always my own,
overrunning its banks and bounds,
edgeless, pilling along the way

it knows everything
