Raised in Marcellus, NY by my mother I was isolated from so much of the world. Marcellus is one of those places that the rest of the world forgot about. After high school I enlisted in the US Army and served three years. I received an honorable discharge and ended up homeless in the streets of Utica, NY before learning a few hard lessons about life on your own. I pulled myself up out of that situation to move on to college, only to get blind-sided by life again when my girlfriend, Beverly, got pregnant. Unfortunately she miscarried the baby and we grew apart. Like so many other people I wandered from job to job trying to find where I fit in this massive world. My travels took my southward to North Carolina where I settled in Greensboro. Once I met Kristen I realized it's not the job that matters, it's who you come home to at night. We have been happily unmarried for seven years now and have two lovely daughters. Kristen and I decided to do things in reverse to prove that, "no, you don't need to be married to love one another under the same roof with children." So for us it's been dating, kids, house, and then we'll get married once settled into a house.
