Well, it all started when I was born and my mother said...--haha just kidding.

I started writing (and actually loving it) in grade 9. I don't quite remember, but I THINK I just randomly got inspired and wanted to write a story, so I did. I didn't show anyone until many months after and it turned out they thought it was awesome. I started loving writing when I read the Twilight series. I respected the fact that Meyer created such a powerful character that everyone loved and my goal became to either level her or surpass her. Ironically enough, I hate the series now. But I owe my thanks to it. Also in the hands of irony, I distinctly remember thinking in grade 6, "How could anyone wanna be a writer? Writing books is the most boring job in the world." Haha, never say never. I hated reading and books back then, but I always seemed to be good at it, not to toot my own horn. Every year my school had poetry season and I always hated it, but I won the contest in grade 6 and wrote a poem, although simple, that everyone liked.

I don't know if writing was somehow nurtured, or I was born with it. I don't know how I came to love it so much, but I know that I'll never stop. I'm currently in grade 12.
