Thi poem makes me feel all fuzzy inside! Gah!

 

What Colorful Lives

 

She told me write in color

Let a rainbow spill on each page

My emotions in all different hues

Each referring to a different phase

My notebook soon became drenched in hues

Though red and yellow were foreseen at the end

My beginning filled with those of blacks and blues

Memories in need of a helping hand

I personally love this poem, out of all the poems I've wrote this is definetly my favorite! I hope its the same for you :)

Ah, yes. I also love colors. I associate them with my mood each day.

When I am happy then I would choose yellow
When I am sad, it could be black or deep blue
When I am angry, let me choose red
When I feel jealous, see me in green.

and maybe you found, as most poets do...the blues were easier to write...and that color dominated...usually does for me...even though i am quite the contented and most often happy person....it is easier to write "blue"--

So true, the sadness in life is so much easier to portray because we know exactly what we feel inside. Happyness is a bit more hard to explain, yet we thrive to know what will make us happy.

Not too be too much of a scumbag, but you need to do a wee bit more grammar. I enjoyed the over all feeling and emotion, but i think you have more in your own power than you know. Liked this Stolie and OJ on me.
