spiritual, mental anguish and illness damn some to the abyss

I want to cease to be.

I do not want pity.

I do not want concern.

I screwed this up

And I have to pay.

 

Other people seem able to do it,

seem to have few problems.

Other people love each other,

cherish, nurture, care, give.

 

I can find no skills to bridge the space

that lies between me and all the world.

I have no tools to build them.

I have no gifts to give.

I only take up space.

 

I want to cease to be.

Tough to read, so many feel this, I know my sister felt this way, fortunately most of us tough it out, or unfortunately, I guess, depends on what color your mood is on that day. We all have a gift to give even in our own anguish, thanks for sharing this one annie.

I have heard many of these cries -- sometimes from loved ones. It isn't easy, is it? We feel this overpowering urge to grab the one in pain and try anything to make it better -- but we rarely can. I know you've gone through this, Frieda, and carry the heartbreak.

It's most difficult annie, I only hope that my sister found peace in her decision to fall, all she did was leave all that pain behind, it gets transferred to those left still staanding....tenfold.
