Death - The sunset of life

Everything comes to an end with death. We take with us only our deeds in the end.

Oh! Visitors of this world,

Your final destination is your grave.

The travel of yours in this world,

Will last for only few decades.

All this fortune of yours will be of no use,

All this opulence will bring no escape,

Your final bed is your grave,

And still you don't care.

All the rich and poor will stand side by side.

All the powerful and weak will be side by side.

Your wealth will take you nowhere,

In fact, your money might bring more despair.

This small grave of yours,

Is in fact your real destination, your real home.

Where you will be asked about your travel,

After being descended into the gravel.

Haven't you witnessed anybody die?

Haven't you ever buried the deceased? 

Open your eyes and look around,

This is your first and last chance; The only chance to work for the time that lasts.

You have hit where it hurts. Death is the inescapable reality of life and perhaps the only reality that matters. It is eternal and unavoidable. When we understand that then everything in life seems so trivial.
