kairos

A Poem by Acerbus

Time is an ocean wave,
Time is an open page,
Time is the ink of entangled hearts in a moments gaze,
Spilled in the time it took,
To give me the time of day,
Time is a prime example of why its a dying age,
And it stings but I let it go,
And I hope but its not for me,
Its for you as my coffin closes I'm choking from underneath,
And its hopeless I never breathe,
Awoken? I never sleep,
I'm alone on this Journey Road I'm a token for disbelief,
In a coma, outrageous thoughts,
This tangled rope is despicable,
Time is a tattletale telling the tales of the biblical.
