Little bottle of poison

Little bottle of poison

A Poem by Adela Muresan
"

Just an opinion.

"
Trade your life for me

Passion like the thunders, and madness
killing reason.

Pain of a broken hart, by reality
witch we despise.

The sadness at nightfall, for the emptiness and yearning
for becoming DEPENDENT.

Imagine your secret, hidden at the bottom of your soul and feel the chains.

The euphoria of a petal rain, and illusions created
by our nave blind beings.

Funny how quick the peons move under its influence.

A dream
worth putting our harts under the edge of the knife

This sweet sweet love

This little bottle of poison.

Take me to your lips, and walk blinded towards
the open gatesof hell.

You are always interesting to read, Adela, for your passion and intense imagery, like here where you mix poison with love. There is much depth in what you are saying hee though it seems overly pessimistic. Love even at its highest levels always exists in relationship to something else, and ufortunately sooner or later disappoints--at least so it seems to me.

Sounds like something from Romeo and Juliet. But it does fit the contest that I am holding

Unfortunately, i couldn't get past your spelling errors. Being a stickler for that kind of thing, that kind of ruined the poem for me.

Let me try this again, as it did read differently the second time around.

At first, I read this as painful, love inflicted. Now I see that it is that
which we crave, which we believe we need and want, which can destroy
us, and often does... or at least comes close. It's clear now that you pointed
it out to me, thank you. Sometimes, I think I tend toward what applies to my
own personal experience, therefore that's what I read.

Again, this is a creatively stunning piece! Very impressive work...

Dark, vivid and intense Adela.
I can relate completely to the comparison between love and poison.
...and altho dark, there is a definite beauty here.

...hmmm...This was lovely in a I wish i didn't understand this as well as I do sort of way. It's beautiful in how true it is for me, while reading this i was brought back to moments when this poem would have expressed what I was feeling better than I could have.... This was amazing....
