A Poem by Akinli Wilde

I'm always one to say goodbye,
to things looking me right in the eye.
I can't seem to think straight, when
people come and judge my gait.
Always caring what people think,
never stopping to wonder
Why do I even care?
I'm my own person, and that is that.
I shouldn't care what they declare,
about the person I should be,
compared to the one I am currently.
I'm sorry if I'm wrong to you,
but it's my life,
and I'll do what I do.
I can't seem to get it right,
when others fall into the rhythm so easily.
It's like I'm all alone in the world,
my once called friends, now my foes.

Nicely done. Don't worry, it all comes right in the end!
One point - I believe you meant the line 'It's like I'm all along in the world,' to be 'It's like I'm all alone in the world,".
Keep on writing!
