PUSH

PUSH

A Poem by Analgesia

Sleek quick-silver chassis

wrapped round the chorded frame.

Perpetual motion,

yet

still as still as

death.

Stuck.

Trenched up.

Snorting vapor

furious with agitation.

PUSH.

Mud-chucking-boot-track-PUSH

Rope-round-her-carriage-PULL

Slacktwang-PullPush

Wait.

Indian ear to the earth

PULL

World-wobbles

PUSH

-Ground-grumbles-

PULL

- Terrain - sediment - triturates -

--HWASCTH-ASCTH-ASCTH!--

Magnificent pounding of a miscellaneous myriad!

Clambering cantering collective!

Terrible! Terrible! Fearful Power!

Simultaneously sprung:

Great beast and galloping wagon train stampede.

Analgesia
Not usually very fond of onematopoeia but I feel like it works here.

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
