Caffeine and Nicotene

Caffeine and Nicotene

A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

Caffeine and nicotene!

Oh how you transpire to inspire

me so.

Turn me up, help me mean

the things I so admire.

Liar.

Caffeine and nicotene!

Oh how you make me think so deep

of you.

Help me now for I have seen

things in my inability to sleep.

Creep.

Caffeine and nicotene!

Oh what have you done now

to me?

For all the places I have been,

by nicotene I surely do avow.

Wow.

Caffeine and nicotene.

Thoughts so bad and thoughts so clean.

Make me feel royal, like a queen.

Do you know where my thoughts have been?

Light them up with kerosene.

Evil things I think, I've deemed.

Oh how much I love you so!

My caffeine and my nicotene.

I love it too. Mostly caffeine, but a little bit of nicotine. I love poems about coffee and cigarettes. :) They both mean so much to people these days, and really.. can you blame them?
