A Poem by Allyson Wolfe

Water drips like dew off of the sweetest white rose.
Fields of golden wheat surround me.
A lacy dress covers my lithe frame as I twirl,
letting the dress billow around me softly.

I swirl and sway, keeping you in my vision.
And a vision that it is;
your dark hair and tan skin,
eyes the softest blue.

You smile softly and pull me in.
A kiss like honey;
I want nothing more in this life.

A love so sweet and so pure,
it shines like diamonds in the sun.
In love, we are elite.
You'll find me my love,
in the golden fields of wheat.

I could stay here until the end of all days,
a white rose being the only thing I smell,
aside from your cologne.
Oh my love, has it ever been more real?

Eyes of blue like oceans of old,
pure and without poison.
It must have been something to see then too.
