Coven Wanted

Coven Wanted

A Poem by Amanda Marie

Slithering down the city streets and crawling the walls,
Naughty little children acting like animals.
What the hell's gotten into them, playing their little tricks,
Burning all the candles but the rhymes didn't stick.
Calling down the thunder just to play in the rain,
But how will you light your cigarette without any flame?

Three of them together, stalking through the night,
Looking for a fourth, under these dirty lights.
Pack up all your matches and take them to the roof.
Maybe who you're looking forms up there too.

She's got a witchy manner and air in her sign,
He's well versed in Alister and water keeps him divine.
Rooted in the earth and just biding her time,
Of course you can bring a friend, they just might be my type.
Aries, Sagittarius, won't you please be mine?
Leo, bring your fire, 'cause we're running out of time.

Three of them together, stalking through the night,
Looking for a fourth, under these dirty lights.
Pack up all your matches and take them to the roof.
Maybe who you're looking forms up there too.

Look over there-final corner to our star.
The wind was howling loud, now its quiet, how bizarre.
Hey there girl, with crystals in your hair,
Who are you looking for with that smoldering stare?
What kind of magic, summoned in the streets
She said I'm looking for you, I heard you're looking for me!
