Death

This poem is unfinished. I would like to add more to it at some point

He roams the earth by moons pale light

A hunter in the dark of night

Mans soul he comes to take away

to rob you of another day

Hungry for the blood of man

A scythe he holds in his hand

and in his eyes theres only death

the stench of decay upon his breath

For all eternity he will reign

Untill no more of man remains

This is dark and beautiful. It flows nicely, and I love the imagery it provides. Only you can say whether or not it's finished, but it doesn't feel unfinished; to me, it does feel complete. Either way, finished or not, this was very well done.

Not a problem Princess. I enjoy your work immensely. As for the ex. . .? I was just kidding around, trying to break the sombre mood your words instilled in me. But that's what I love about your work. It draws so much emotion from the reader and kinda grabs you by the neck to shake you into submission.
