Death

Death

A Poem by Riley Mistwood
"

This poem is unfinished. I would like to add more to it at some point

"

He roams the earth by moons pale light

A hunter in the dark of night

Mans soul he comes to take away

to rob you of another day

Hungry for the blood of man

A scythe he holds in his hand

and in his eyes theres only death

the stench of decay upon his breath

For all eternity he will reign

Untill no more of man remains

This reminds me of "On a Pale Horse" not the same ending but close. I enjoyed this.

Thank you :)
This is dark and beautiful. It flows nicely, and I love the imagery it provides. Only you can say whether or not it's finished, but it doesn't feel unfinished; to me, it does feel complete. Either way, finished or not, this was very well done.

Short and to the point Princess but a great piece nonetheless. Great moving quality to it. It actually reminded me of a girl I used to date but perhaps that's a subject for another time eh? I really enjoyed it. Love and Hugs. xxx

I love the beginning lines and the way the rest flow from it. This is a fine poem and I would be interested to see where you would go with it if you should decide to continue, although It's fine the way it is as far as I can see. Nice.

Really love this poem though it's unfinished.
To me it's alright that way; short yet detailed

read a couple of pieces and see you work in small writing :)
seriously, much to enjoy about this if such is possible...death is never an easy one to deal with because it can be treated with disregard but you do it well here.
