Right from day of my birth
I kept acquiring the doses
 of knowledge ,
with a view to becoming
 a sensible human being.

Indeed I've grown up,
but as a seasoned actor;
One who is quite cautious and keen
about the expressions to be displayed;
One who is original , yet not real at all.

wow...what a brilliant realization... it is hard i think for anyone to be real these days. For when you do open up and let out your true self, it just opens your heart up to be broken. Wonderfully wise words ...wonderful write!

I suppose to be very 'real', we might have to let ourselves be ruled more by emotions. I, for one, am thankful for just a little reserve … a wish for something a little better here on Earth. It is how you look at it. But making choices that feel inauthentic to yourselves and what you view as moral, that is another story. Well … I am rambling … you made me think, you. Profound write.

All the world's a stage and we run about with masks to conform to societal and cultural dictates, sometimes, even political. To what extent do we do so and at what cost? To lose yourself in the mill of life, flung around in the currents that, maybe, were not meant for you. Sometimes, it is much better to grasp onto a rock and sit on the banks to watch the currents take others to where they were meant to go and at the right moment, take the plunge and swim towards truth and honesty.
