"Moonshadows..."

"Moonshadows..."

A Poem by Chris
"

...echoes of yesterday

"

"Moonshadows..."

...echoes of yesterday...

There are times I feel your fingertips
grazing my cheek...
and your lips are just right THERE

and mine move to find and mold to yours...
and I can feel your arms around me
and squeezing so tight...
and then for whatever reason
I become aware of where and when I am
and wish so hard - I hadn't.

Careful Ed ...they won't let Cat Stevens into the US.
Sometimes reality sucks. Or at best, doesn't live up to what it could be. Well written as only you can do so well.

Life as we live it is seldom as we want it.
Although a beautiful sadness, these are words to remember, feelings to wrap in tissue and keep safe. You'll have to close your eyes, turn around three times and then, wish like crazy ..
