"A Spider's Web..."

"A Spider's Web..."

A Poem by Chris
"

Mmmmmhmmm...

"

"A Spider's Web..."

Do you ever go any 'where'?
Just for the sake of - GOING!
Knowing you CAN...
Knowing there IS no reason nor rhyme
no thought, restriction,
just...YOU...GOING...some...WHERE -

just because you CAN!

Chris

I like this poem, and the challenge it offers. It does seem a bit "meandering", but in a good way... like somebody wandering pleasantly for the sake of wandering, just like your poem says! Overall, it's a terrific tone and uses great language to get across a pleasant message. Great job!

I love to meander and see where things (thinks) take me--good to read you again Chris--

I have walked into a room and have forgotten what for...does that count?

Lol, one foot in front of the other, Chris. Wonderful!

...I was meandering yesterday. Took myself out to a restaurant, had a sip of wine in a room with shaded lighting . My braised scallops and spinach salad was eaten slowly as I sat there thinking, I had no reason to rush. i think I know what you mean by spider's web...

Often the most enjoyable thing you do is just because you can. A spider's web just fits.

It's a freeing feeling to do just that, and I truly get that feeling from your poem. I love your work. :) Well done.

No...that's much too carefree for a hard-nosed control freak like me! *chuckles*
