"The Day After Tomorrow..."

"The Day After Tomorrow..."

A Poem by Chris

"The Day After Tomorrow..."

It's a bit of gray ...today
a quiet sorta, kinda day.
nothing special
new

or bright or much of light...
just another
...bit of gray - today.

nothing subdues me like a gray day...it's a bit chilly, but hoping for a little sunshine...it'll be a light freeze tonight...have to lay down some plastic over those little veggie things poking their heads up out of the soil...thanks for the emo-weather report Chris...hoping your day moves along smoothly

Soft spoken...like a whisper of wind on a gray day.

Short and sweet, straight to the point. Nice.

Let me spread some sunshine from my Sunshine State .I will sweep away the gray ....chase it to another day ..make you smile ..if only for awhile :)

We had a day like that earlier this week, kind of grey and dull. Again I love your use of alliteration. You craft it well and weave it effortlessly throughout the poem. I am a huge fan of alliteration and I try to use it often in my writes.

Good mornin' Chris. Coffee?

You think the sun will burn it off later?

Very well done, sir.
