Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Anima Inspired

Sitting,

quietly in the shade
of an ordinary tree
with ordinary branches
and an extraordinary story.

Waiting,

to see you walking towards me,
with that lanky swagger
that sets my senses on fire,
exciting a frenzy that steals my breath
and challenges the rhythm of my pulse.

Remembering,

that time that we made love
here in the dark, on this very spot,
not caring who saw, not concerning ourselves
with anyone or anything, except
our skin, our hands, our eyes, our mouths.

Falling,

until I can’t breathe anything but your name,
off of my lips, a whisper, delicate
like the fluttering of butterflies in June,

circling, spinning, clustering…safe.

the likening to butterflies at the end is really something since they are beautiful creatures who were perfectly matched to this kind of matter, though for some reason the first verse seems to speak out the loudest in this poem because it really shows what state the poet is in, that...longing patiently, or impatiently. And the second and third verse is definitely a good transference of feeling, creating a sense of excitement in the reader with such images. =) I likey...lol.

this is so good ,waiting, and remember, when we made love it was our own world ,what do we care if any saw,so let him,we do not see anything but our hands face and whispers like we disconnected from all the world around ,you give me that feeling for you blunt all my senses ,eyes see non but you ,heart will lose rhythm only for you my breath i can hardly take in ,its you,you overwhelm me i just cant breather or whisper but you name resonating in my ears like a buzzing butterflies,how...how could i forget, you took all over me

Ohhh Wow another great poem....

times when you let the passion get the best of you are some of the most memorable and there is nothing like making love in public to bring out that raging fire...

and the ending was purely blissful and romantic.
