F-words: Friends and Forgive

F-words: Friends and Forgive

A Poem by ANM
"

Poem about friends, life, promises and forgiveness

"

Frenzy friends, I love you all

Without you, my day is dull.

A single day without you,

It seems like I'm all alone to...

No one to talk to and share funky talks

I am missing our silly stalks.

And of course our stupid actions

in school to see others' reaction.

I am missing all the fun we had;

All the things are now bad.

I don't know how it all happened,

I think I am the one who started.

Fights, shout, blame and everything,

I guess I did just for nothing.

I feel very sorry now.

I have to apologize anyhow.

Because I am the one who put it to end,

I never knew you could comprehend.

Now, how could I just stand and see,

After all, can you forgive me?

Yours is such a personal poem, says quite a lot about you.. and many points and pain shown in the process.

All I can and will say is to write as YOU feel for now. Plus if you're prepared to do so, go and read other poetry in the cafe, try to get a feel of how others express themselves. Never copy, but try to understand how they use words, how they lay words so they convey thoughts, visuals simply but manage, somehow, to make you stop and think, 'I like that!' Perhaps a simple way of learning but, it's early days yet. I've been writing in the cafe for over ten years and am still wearing L.plates!

Relationships are all fraught with potential. Arguments always look different as they age. Good work, I suggest perhaps letting go of rhyme and structure your work another way.
