Happy Valentines my love

Happy Valentines my love

A Poem by CA Anurag Sharma
"

Random thoughts

"
I try to be strong, I try to be calm,
But hidden somewhere is the void you left,
I show as if I have moved on,
But somewhere I always wait for you to come back,
I try to keep myself busy all the time to avoid your thoughts,
But somewhere I always think about you,
I try to act as if I don't care,
But somewhere I wish you are happy all the time,
Things changed so fast,
Our egos drifted us apart,
But somewhere I havent forgotten that smile,
Those late night calls and those endless talks,
I revisit those times again and again,
I read those replies you never sent,
I wish I could get a chance to clear all the misunderstandings,
I wish I could get a chance to show how much you still mean to me,
Or I wish I could become strong enough to forget you.
Things change, times change but memories never fade,
Those moments I still cherish,
Forgetting those time will need lot of shove,
But for now only thing I want to say is "Happy Valentines" my love.

egos tend to do that...such an affectionate write...a couple of the longest lines might be broken down a little to avoid feeling cumbersome...but i also love the last line...and the sentiment is strong here.

And those misunderstandings are so hard to clear up...we can soften them a bit...but both sides feel a little unsure...if we can accept each other, flaws and all...we can love unconditionally.

Thank you so much M'am .....
The sun will shine after the congested fog. Hope will spread after the negative commotion. Your love will soar after lovely sentiments. You are affectionate and creative, sir...:))))

Thank you :)
This is heart-wrenching to read my friend. You have such a romantic heart. Love often falls under the pressure of miscommunication and the wavelength we once shared with them become crackly and full of static.
This moved me.
Thanks for the RR.

Thank you so much ANTO. Yes miscommunication and ego are the biggest enemies of a relationship. Glad.. read more
That was a very mature and understanding Valentines wish. Heartbreaks do engrave their memories, good or bad. But keeping the heart open is the way to know the season has changed and the storm is over.

Time heals everything but scars remain... thanks for your kind review though :)
Nice flow of thoughts led to good ending.
"But for now only thing I want to say is "Happy Valentines" my love."
Old memories and thoughts do deserve pleasure endings. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.

You are welcome my friend.
Beautiful nostalgic emotions.
That missed chances of the past to which we still in present are somehow tethered to!
Certain sentences could be a tad succinctly devised.
A beautiful write. Keep writing. :)
