Gone with the Glitter

Gone with the Glitter

A Poem by Archishman Rick

They left the lights on out in the sky,
The drops of rain will shine through tonight.
Left alone in my mind,
I look to welcome the sight,
Seen from the depths of the woods,
And boulevards alike,
Which you had wandered in all,
Before you faded from sight.

Memory serves me keen,
You put your will in me,
When fire burned in your eyes
Just like the sun in the sky.
You wished to sparkle the ocean,
And shine the heart of the land,
A paragon of your notion,
To gently hold every hand.

Hope in a better dimension,
I am what you were like,
Where we make to keep promises,
And can live the good life..

I think and stare at the night,
The droplets sparkling so bright,
Like you their glitter is pure,
Which gives me hope to be sure,
That when the moment is right,
Your will come back in my sight.

A fellow in my mid twenty's, I have a knack to challenge myself mentally and physically. Whether it strengthens or softens my general naivety, I do not know. I hope to find, and trust the worth in t.. more..
