They Never KnewA Poem by The Last Poetic Kingpoetry
From the highest mountain,
Looking down upon everything.. The brightest landscape that we have ever known So we find ourselves in a tone, That we cry just so they know They never knew, They never knew How love could consume, Everything we believe.. Believe in the fading scent, Regret the moment we have left.. Behind the tides, to be forgotten.. To be forgotten by the fiery eye of temptation Reach out to a stranger, Let them know they're not alone In this together, we shall weather The most violent storm of years to come And they never knew, They never knew. They never knew The brightest landscape, We look down from the mountains Just to escape the tragic moments, We can't embrace.. Take this moment, Take it while it means something.. Show us the way,, Save the moment before it fades Like the life we were given, All shall fade.. But they never knew, No.. They never knew With time everything shall be enveloped in a cold crystal And it's better to believe in something even if everything shall fade Like the oldest book, we turn the page So gentle, not to rip the remains From the highest mountain, We look down to the brightest landscape And somewhere deep in our hearts, we know we're not alone.. We're not alone in this expanding universe.. But they never knew.. They never knew how two could be one.. So deep in love, nothing else mattered.. They never knew.. They never knew love like we do..
