Eyes of Eden

Eyes of Eden

The sanctuary was forbidden, in the eyes of Eden.
A gush of a once forgotten breeze,
the rustling of fallen leaves.

An atonement to a crime yet uncommitted,
Battered and beat, the harness of silent sheep
Satisfying at least, if we only breathe.

Along the winding road,
Snow covers all that we once ever knew to be true..
The sky remains that once pale blue,
If we are in hell, who ever knew?

The sanctuary was long forgotten, in the eyes of Eden..
A gush of a once nostalgic breeze,
Silently the world shifts; a season changes,
Reverberating a graceful blessing

An entombment for a crime once committed,
Longing for safety, unable to breathe the fallen's decay
Friend nor foe, only the fiends truly know...

Have you ever looked into the eyes of madness?
If not, try looking into the mirror..
We are the monsters, We are the demons under the beds..
We are the silver gun to your head,
The silence shattering silver lead..
We've all just been mislead..

The sanctuary was forbidden, in the eyes of Eden..
From all the lies we keep on feeding..

The sanctuary was long forgotten, in the eyes Eden..
From all the crimes we keep repeating.
