Ghosts and Demons

Ghosts and Demons

A Poem by The Last Poetic King
"

Wrote this song/poem for Dallas. May she rest in piece.

"
She's fighting ghosts and demons of her past,
But to relapse and to collapse; it's all fables
So just sit it all down at the table,
The words won't come easy,
That moment is always tricky.

She has a lot on her mind,
And it doesn't seem to be easy
And time is not easing..

I know your heart must be freezing.
I know your heart must be freezing.

She has her mind filled with doubt,
And with a coin she is without,
A penny for her troubles, maybe

She's fighting everything that she once thought would last,
All these pills and bottles, she's down to her last cigarette
But don't you ever fear never knowing?
But don't you ever fear never knowing?

She's fighting ghosts and demons of her past,
but to relapse and to collapse; it's all fables
& I know your heart must be freezing,
But you're still alive and breathing
& I know your heart must be freezing,
But maybe we're just dreaming...

I know your heart must be freezing.
I know your heart must be freezing.
