Watch It Burn

Watch It Burn

A Poem by The Last Poetic King
"

this poem is about how no one cares until its too late.

"
Shot down the sky, just to watch it burn
No one cared, because no one heard
The screeching sounds of children burning,
Devastation; chaos, the madness of the sky tossed into flames

It's sickening the time in which we live
Where no one gives but are quick to receive,
This selfishness a disease that plagues
We shall never survive with such self centered attitudes
And they used to say this belief was absurd

As the flames burnt ever so bright,
The atmosphere quickly dissolving
Oh so devastating! The death of a selfish race!

Everyone cares at the brink of death!
But no one cares when they breathe so fresh!

You say there is good amongst men,
But all I see is tyrants out for themselves
No one cares and no one cares that you'll pay in the end
Burn, Burn down.. Burn for your sins

Shot down the sky, just to watch it burn
No one cared, because no one heard
The pleas of holy men burning alive,
Asking for retribution for their sins
And for eternity in a kingdom in which they hope to live
