Walking around Castle

Walking around Castle

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

It's Ruler of night

"
When Bram stoker's pages were opened
Found Johnathan hakers journal
Pondering through journal
I heard the howling of wolves

In my ears it seems music
From unknown world of darkness
Where the gigantic castle stood alone
Surrounding forests and mountains high.

Where the bats fly in the limelight
Camouflaging the dark hours.
Opening the tombs in the graveyard
Walking mystery all around.

Nerves are cold enough to battle
Mina and Lucy's experiences
The blood thirst hours
Only Van Helsing found a solution.

The vampires rule the world
In the darkest hours of time
Opening the blood to flow
To taste it's nourishing soul.

Do I have any holy books
Alone, while walking around the castle
The tombstones are not shut
Then, I saw the Ruler of Darkness beside.

I don't know if you are aware of the US festival called Halloween, but the types of characters that figure into your poem are a big part of it. Children dress up like them and go from house to house asking for candy, saying "Trick or treat!" The poem fits right into the season. It is celebrated each Oct. 31.

I enjoyed reading your poem. Who really is the ruler of darkness? You paint the scenery of an old, spooky castle filled with dread. "The vampires rule the world in the darkest hours of time. Opening the blood to flow To taste its nourishing soul." Well written and expressed.

Wonderful write, I personally liked Bram stokers Dracula. I thought the whole story was beautiful and the best one I had seen as far as those movies go. I loved your words ;-}
