The bird on the tree

The bird on the tree

A Poem by Arundass TP
"

The world of birds

"
The bird on the tree
Never built a permanent nest
Never cried for a fallen nest
Never cried for a fallen tree.

The bird on the tree
Never begged for a fruit
Never flew with a different flock
Never hid from the enemy coming.

The bird on the tree gives
Never unforgettable visual treat
Never unforgettable muscical notes
Never unforgettable mythical lessons.

The bird on the tree
Never spare a seed to sew
Never spare a time in fantasies
Never spare a time cultivating
Never spare a time for harvesting.

Animals and Nature have a lot to teach us about how to live.
However, they do hide from approaching enemies.
All of nature, including us, has a desire to live, maybe even when we don't want to.
We are designed that way, so that life will go on, instead of just stopping when things get rough.

Nature appeals to the fallen of human nature of human beings, who have forgotten how to live this way.
We have blocked ourselves off to it.
That's why it is so good for us when we return to Nature.

Beautiful, powerful lessons... How I love to keep the birds gathered in my gardens... and here is why... they teach so much in every breath... every song.

I feed the birds. They sing to me in the days of Spring and Summer.
"The bird on the tree
Never spare a seed to sew
Never spare a time in fantasies
Never spare a time cultivating
Never spare a time for harvesting."
I liked the above lines. The birds are wise. Ready to escape to a warmer place before Winter set in. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry. I did enjoy.

.................. .. U R welcome .. 👍
Actually, we have a couple of birds that return to the same nest year after year and now their offspring's are doing the same thing.
They all entertain us with their sweet songs

I enjoyed your poem. "The bird on the tree
Never build a permanent nest
Never cry for a fallen nest
I never cried for a fallen tree."
Birds are able to fly wherever they please and can always construct nests. Well written.

“Never unforgettable mythical lessons”
That line caught me. They all did but you know that part of a poem that steps outside the lines and the rest of the poetry orbits around it with an entirety… that line was it for me. Very much enjoyed!!

I for one am thankful for the bird on the tree outside my home. Singing sweetly at dawn, but likely to find freedom at any time. The bird gives and I receive. In return I ensure the bird feeder is filled with seed.
