Breaking Heart

i can't describe to you how bad this hurts

i can't tell you how much i need you

i can't tell you how sorry i am

 

but i can tell you how unfair you are

i can tell you how cruel you are

i can tell you how you don't deserve me

 

everytime you've done something wrong

i've forgiven you

everytime you broke my heart

i let you find the pieces and put them back together

everytime you let go of my hand

i hold it out and wait for you to find you're way back

 

but it doesn't matter because

 

i messed up one time

i made one mistake

after you've made thousands

and my one mistake

forced you to turn your back on me

and all the good i've done for you

all the time i gave to you

all the love i shared with you

you threw away for someone you hardly knew

because you say, "she'd never do a wrong to you"

my heart is shattered and lying on the ground
don't be too harsh it's as real as it gets

Aww, a very real and very raw write. I felt every word that you wrote, and could sympathise with you wholeheartedly. The lines "everytime you've done something wrong/i've forgiven you" definitely hit a raw nerve with me, and I liked how simply you worded such emotions. The last stanza in particular was a really strong way to end the piece. Nice work,
