The Collapse of the World Trade Center

It has been an hour in a half 

Since the heart and strength of NYC has been attack 

The creation of America's economy was crippled into little pieces

Firefighters are going into the towers trying to get people out 

Police officers creating a perimeter around the area of the towers 

Command stations are being set up in the lobbies 

Half of New York City could see the Two Towers burning from backward or their window 

Even Times Square could see the attack on America on the billboard

 

9:56 am in the morning

An hour after the attack 

A shocking moment that changed America 

The South Tower begins to collapse 

Like a Lego building falling only with dust 

As it fell, smoke started to fill half of Manhattan 

All of the United States could do is watch in horror as it falls 

After the collapse of South Tower, 

Firefighters in the North Tower were told to get out 

Most of them got out 

Most of them didn't, because of difficult radio communications

Some of them weren't aware of the collapse of the South Tower 

10:28 am in the morning 

The unthinkable, but predictable happened 

The North Tower started to collapse

 

Like the same of the North Tower, it was like a Lego building 

America was truly struck to the core 

The Two Towers were gone 

Just like that 

343 firefighters perished 

Were there any survivors 

What was the fate of New York City
