Another breath

With another breath, i send the pain away.
Or at least derail it from being on display.
I close my eyes and try to put a stop to time.
Swallowing my worries like a squirt of bitter lime.
Hoping when my eyes open, it would have all been blow away.
Praying that somehow, i can see the beauty in the day.
Not just crying myself to sleep and remaining where i lay.
I often wish that i could go far away from here.
Where the morning breeze calms my soul, and the ocean sounds near.
In a place where i can be myself and bare my hurting soul.
Or maybe i just want the bitter sweet comfort, that comes with being alone.
