Welcome to the dark wonders...

Welcome to the world of night,

Can’t see your face, fading light.

Death walks hand in hand with angels here,

Dare you follow? Challenge your fear?

Realm of reality, constantly changing,

Feeding the fat, hurting the aching.

Where dragons still hunt, their prey unchanging,

Shadows dance, under the moon ageing.

Over the river which flows back to the mountain,

Fires burn from remnants ashen.

Dare you take your mask of sins,

To burn on eagles golden wings?

Welcome to the darkside dear.

Angels and death walk hand in hand here.

I like the feel of this poem. The walk with Angels and death can get twisted. I like the description and your story. I like these dark poem that leave us with a ending with mystery and great possibilities. A excellent poem.
