Cathy

Cathy

A Poem by Awdures

Awakened by moonlight

She dreamed of him

Surrounded in heather

Barefoot in silver.

""

Wild, free, desolation

Wreckless abandon

Yearning to touch

Hidden passion.

""

Out on the rambling

Windy moors,

playland of childhood

Now dreams long forgotten.

""

She walks alone

A lonely figure

Breeze in her hair

Tears on her cheeks.

"-

Lost, unknown

Her love unrequited

Heartbroken

For words unspoken.

""

Cruel mother moon

Her spirit restless

Yearning for the one

She loved the best.

This poem is so beautiful. I can relate to this as I have felt like this before in my life. And the poem sounds so clever that it describes how the girl couldn't stand being without her love. Just like I can't stand being without the person I love most. I find this poem sweet and sensational. I like the flow it's so packed full of emotions and my favourite word "restless" that really does stand out. The poem really does it for me with the powerful words used makes it truly amazing
