Graduation

Graduation

A Poem by MadeCheaply

Seems like yesterday where it all began
We didn't have say to the first day of kindergarten.
The emotions were never the same
Day by day swinging left and right
The battles in classes were half the fight

Through each level we learned something new
How things worked, how things grew
Even lessons not in studies
Like making good choices, and who are your buddies

And though at times we wanted to give up
Or wanted to go home
We never realized that its not the same
When we get home.

So to all my friends and all my peers,
I present this to your tears.
Congratulations and cheers
HERE GOES TO TWELVE YEARS!

Author's Note

MadeCheaply
I actually spent a few weeks writing this. I think the best parts are the second and last stanza in my opinion. Purple represents one of our school colors.
I would like an opinion, I haven't been writing as much as I want.
