That Special Kiss

That Special Kiss

A Poem by B. Boileau

A special kiss lay in wait

Yet to be found in a special heart

Passion missed from the taste

Of lips bound miles apart

A random meeting of chance

Or perhaps it was that of fate

In tandem entwined with a slow dance

Mind and bodies in the same state

Quivering soles wanting the other

Held back by anticipation

Shivering tension all but smothers

The heavy sigh of infatuation

The bright morning sun rays pierce

Lay in waste ending the bliss

The yarning inside so very fierce

To taste that special kiss

i think sometimes the anticipation is even greater than the kiss itself...or maybe it is what makes that first kiss so great.
