Paradise

Paradise

A Poem by Bhumika Devkota

To close my eyes again,

and go back to the hell.

Where I try to go back home,

but my feet are stuck

to the sandy ground.

There is a city in front of me,

but it keeps on disappearing.

It’s an adventure they say,

apparently they never tried it.

There’s no paradise

in this place.

Describing nightmares?
It sounds like a few I've had.
It flows well, nice one.

Thanks for the review.
I did enjoy it Bhumika because to me this is like dreams i used to have where i had to run away from something but my feet were like glued to the ground or every time i tried to run i fell over or when i was going somewhere like your city and i kept going in the wrong direction, never getting there, all very frustrating, love your poem :)
