One Forgets

One Forgets

One forgets the dazzle of the past haunts one's heart, for each pearl glows like a diamond, an illusion to the receptors that filter the radiance of lasting luminous Does the cornerstone of marble resemble that made of slate; that brittle, faded slab crumbling with tempers and erosion To focus on the past, aid the future, capturing that moment that alter our expectations and renewing a sense of worth... To dwell in the past, alters the perception of one's life that tends to linger, cause guilt, and emotional weakness Share the warmth and compassion one gives to others, with one's self

A lot of truth here, Ralphy. Beautiful presentation too.

This is beautiful.
Some people want to forget the past, some people don't. I suppose it's not always good to linger on the past, because as you mentioned, it can be spiritually draining.
