To dwell in the past, alters the perception of one's life that tends to linger, cause guilt, and emotional weakness� Share the warmth and compassion one gives to others, with one's self�

This is beautiful.
Some people want to forget the past, some people don't. I suppose it's not always good to linger on the past, because as you mentioned, it can be spiritually draining.
