It's quiet. Suddenly, I hear a trains horn. First the conductor toots it, then let out a couple spurts. The horn echoes to reach far and wide throughout the night.
I hear it once more. Getting farther and farther away now as it continues to warn.

I can't help but to wonder:

How fast are they going?
Where are they going?
What is the total length?
What are they carrying?
