Falling

Falling

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Deep deep down to the dark abyss . I fall and fall . Is there no end ?

"
He perches the ledge
Unafraid to fall
Bullet hole through his chest
Doesn't matter anymore
He keeps trying to die
And always seems to fail
Looking up at the gray clouds
Without a care in the world
He's desparate to see
The dark abyss that awaits
And without any fear
What is there to miss
His shirt fades red
Where his blood pours out
He waits for it to come
His selfdemise.
He promises to go
To a better place than this
On which this rock he stands
It's named as his place
The last thing he thinks
As he free falls towards the ground
What a lovely thing to think
He's finally free from life
