My heart is shattered into thousand pieces,

And every breath is like a knife

In my soul, in my mind,

And when I close my eyes 

I see the stars you drew

For me a long time ago.

Now they are a reminder of your darkness in my life,

A past of my old person,

A naïve and stupid one

Who believed your words.

I love myself now  with all your darkness in my soul,

Yes time can be a healer and a friend. Patience though isn't that easy to come by. She can be elusive :)

I know... and it's kind of sad. You are right, and it takes a lot to move on and sometimes we lie to ourselves that's finally over, but it's not. :(
