First Kiss

The memory of a first kiss...

Two young hearts

walked to the same beat

with interlaced fingers

in cool fall heat

We counted the pieces

as the sky fell down

you asked me to be yours

sweet breath on my crown

"Of course" was my answer

we are true loves

as stars dotted the ceiling

to the song of turtle doves

A back alley we crept

your skateboard in hand

which became the seat

of our passion's first stand

I smile to myself now

as we still live in bliss

when I think those years back

to our very first kiss

A poem I thought of the other day, when I was thinking about mine and my Husband's first kiss ^_^

My real first kiss was when I was about seven years old. I had a crush on a girl in my class, and she knew it. After a few months, I went up to her (remind you, I was a kid and didn't really know what I was doing it for), and planted a kiss on her. At first, I thought she was gonna slap me or punch me so hard that I would end up at the nurse's office. But instead, she actually kissed me back. And we remained good friends until we reach high school. But later, I moved and never saw her again. But that was my real and most memorable kiss I had. Even to this day, I still reflect on where she may be, and wondering if she is now married and has a family of her own.

Aww, this is beautiful and amazing! I think it's great to remember back to such a special time as that. I've been kissed on the cheek once or twice before but never had my first "real" kiss yet. I'm actually really excited for that day to someday happen! :)

This is S W E E T! I love the “remember when” stories! Why? Probably because kids always ask. Well I don't have kids and might never will have one but I adore my nephews and nieces and they're the ones asking me of my first kiss, and I had to reinvent, lol. Or perhaps you’re reminiscing to include those memories into your journal or like this one-poetry. Regardless of the reason, "first time" memories are completely awesome. Whether you and your husband have been together for a year or a decade, it's still very important to reminisce and respect that milestone.

I am quite happy to say that my first kiss was beyond romantic. And yeah Avril Lavigne I suppose would definitely come to mind. I was the good girl and he was the head of the bad boy committee, so to speak xD But my gosh I fell hard for him. Sometime soon I plan on writing about how we came to be...it's actually quite a movie like story I must say ^_^ Just telling it takes a while. I loved your review. Thank you!
