that egotist siddhartha

that egotist siddhartha

A Poem by Blake Fodor

siddhartha and
all those
disciples

a holy man
with an
entourage?

sounds like
celebrity
to me

and that
begging thing

still the same
old rotten princely
thinking

just
in a different
kingdom

still expecting
others
to fork out
their hard won
efforts

for nothing
more in
return than
a smile
from a
delusional
egoist

This is very well-penned my friend. It has a dark and mysterious feel to it.

The writing is relatable and real, emotional and it has poetic value. Fervently expressed.

A unique and beautifully expressed poem. This is very nicely written.

Your images are so sharply defined... these, and your singular vocabulary, mark this as yet another triumph! BRAVO
