Pulled Away

Filled with only his dark ambition. 

He whispers sweet words without contradiction. 

Time is fleeting, time is fast. 

But only those with necessities will last.

Can He tell me why they stay?

And why they easily sing and play.

Ignorance and bliss.

Filled by your sweet kiss.

I find my treasure, I find my hope.

I close my eyes, and feel the rope.

Pulling and tearing my questions afar.

Only to be stuck, in a deep dark tar.

I've no regrets, seeing your wide eyes beaming.

For our time together...was never teeming.
