Today
I finally woke up
I found the real side to my story
I learned to see in the dark
and to live in brilliance
Today
I conquered my soul
I fell in love with perfection
I found power in not knowing
and resisted the tendencies
Today
I melted the habits
I pushed fate out the front door
I stood with a smile on my face
and laughed at my own conclusions
Today
I forgot about yesterday
I thought of tomorrow
I regretted my thoughts
and made peace with myself
