I'll die to live tomorrow.

I'll die to live tomorrow.

A Poem by Bullet Soul
"

Fight for the life that you long to live.

"
I write with my own dignity, though the words may come and go
Your critiques are welcome, though my thoughts will never change
This world wants me as prisoner, with hopes I might concur

But you will not trap me, with ideas of your justice
I am more than a piece, in the game you call peace
You will not shatter, the dreams I will fulfill

You say my thoughts are ridiculed, and battled through the night
But still I take the stand, and if you ask me, by God I will fight!
For the tomorrow I refuse, to let this world define

You say love is your hero… but would you die for them?
The ones that you claim, live close to your heart
Would you die for the country, you almost betrayed?

With a gun to your head, would you say the words
That would kill the honest, the free and the brave
Yet save the heart, you long to keep beating?

Tell me, who is your God!?
When you stand for justice, yet let others fall
Behind in a crowd, that you have created

Still I hear you say, you know my thoughts are ridiculed, and battled through the night
But I will take the stand! And if you ask me, by God I will fight!
For the tomorrow I refuse, to let this world define

Author's Note

Bullet Soul
This poem is meant to be about fighting to live the life you long for, despite the boundaries set in front of you; mainly the ones by the government. It was meant to encourage others to take a stand for what they believe. Standing up alone is far better than sitting in silence.
