Be Careful Who You Trust.

Be Careful Who You Trust.

A Poem by Bullet Soul
"

Sometimes we give our hearts to the wrong people...

"

Her arms will tell the story, of a thousand spoken lies

Of the glory, yet the pain, her love has left behind

She feels I’ll lift the burden these years have placed upon her

But my only attraction is the scream she holds inside.

She sees me as her knight, who can offer her the sunrise

That will end her boundless struggles, through eternal darkness.

Her pictures on my walls, and the knife perched in my hands

As I give her blood soaked promises, of a death you cannot silence.

I am her sense of danger, her reckless super hero

I save her from the aimless life that begs to take control.

Past heartbreaks have no magnitude, when I hold her in my arms

But when her heart has healed, true burdens will be nigh.

I long to be the doctor, who saves her tortured soul

Then steals away the daylight, I’ve lit beneath her eyes

I’ll pull away your trust, acquaint you with my promise

To undo each wrong, that you have committed

I’ll tell you you are beautiful, as I charm you with my lies

So gullible, so haunted, as you battle with your fright

I am her sense of danger, her reckless superhero

But with my knife, pressed to her throat

This romance will be, the first of her regrets

Tonight we dance beneath the moon, tomorrow she’ll be dead

For she allowed me to conquer, the final tortured soul

But still I will leave her, with five life saving words…

Be careful who you trust.

A amazing poem. You write with a experience pen. The description and story is sad and painful. Some people don't want to be saved. Must save yourself. Many strongs lines in this poem. You can write a story.
