I don't think you love me.

I don't think you love me.

A Poem by Bullet Soul

You tell me you love me, but you laugh in my face

Ignoring my tears, and my bloody wrists

No pain for you, will equal no risk

You say so many, painful words

But all that matters, is the wrongs I have done

Though you plot against me, outside in the dark

You tell me you love me, but you scream your insults

Ignoring the tears, that fall from brown eyes

When the door between us, is finally shut

Your promises have fallen, like a flower’s petals

Blowing away, in the soft winter breeze

As knife meets skin, and burden meets shoulders

Would it be too hard to act your age?

Would asking you so, bring a lifetime of pain?

Or more blood to the wrist, as if I’d shot you with a bullet

You know just how, to overreact

Yet still I give you, a second chance

Sometimes I wish they’d take it all away

I don’t think you know, how to take a wound

To let things go, or know which battles to pick

As you stand giving away, another wasteful breath

I don’t think you love me, when you laugh in my face

Ignoring my tears, and my bloody wrists

No pain for you, will equal no risk

I don’t think you love me, when you scream your insults

Ignoring the tears, that fall from my eyes

When the door between us is finally shut

I don’t think you love me...

But still I’ll say, I love you too.

A powerful and sad poem. Sometime we feel alone and empty. But we must hold on to love. In your words can feel desire to be loved and listen to. I recomment silence. Nothing can cause worry as silence. A excellent poem.
